Reese Witherspoon and Avon Join Forces with UNIFEM

Reese Witherspoon is certainly deserving of her good girl image. As the face of Avon, she has recently introduced Avon’s first global charity product — the Women’s Empowerment Bracelet.

Witherspoon made the announcement at the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) press conference. She is the Global Ambassador of the Avon Foundation.

The bracelet, Witherspoon says, “is designed to save and improve women’s lives worldwide. It’s a symbol of unity that represents a future without limitations for all women. It represents everything I love about this company.”

You can purchase a bracelet of your own at the Avon website for just $3.00. And yes, the decimal is in the correct place there. The Avon Empowerment Fund receives 100% of the net proceeds to continue its work toward ending violence against women. Not only should you purchase one for your self, but for your all your girlfriends, too!
